Refrigeration and cooling systems have traditionally been viewed as being separate to the heating systems that are installed within the same facility or site.

Due to this there may be energy rejected on a particular site that could displace a percentage or potentially all the thermal energy produced by a low efficiency boiler.

As such there is a real opportunity to recover the waste heat from refrigeration systems in order to provide thermal energy with no cost of production.
