Thursday 17th September 12.30 – 13.45 (The session will run for approximately one hour, followed by time for any questions, discussion points or open queries.)

Join us to hear about this industry-leading application from the engineer that created the project.

Webinar Overview:

One of the most identifiable yet challenging areas of decarbonisation and energy cost reduction is the recycling of waste heat and de-steaming of an industrial process. Even though it is clear that real gains and savings can be achieved, this area is often seen as complicated and difficult to implement.

In this webinar, we tackle this subject head-on by taking you through the background and implementation of the Grünenthal award-winning retrofit combined heating and cooling (CHC) project.

The Head of Engineering and Project Management at Grünenthal, Jörg Schütte, led the project from concept to delivery and will present the project in person during this webinar. Jörg will take the webinar attendees on a detailed journey, explaining how steam was removed from the process and waste heat was recycled, with an outcome that provided the highest levels of efficiency with no fossil fuel use.

Pure Thermal is the Oilon UK partner providing the same range of Oilon heat pumps that have been applied within this project.

Industry has acknowledged that there is very significant potential for these types of applications in the UK, which is why the Pure Thermal team are committed to increasing awareness of this practical and high-efficiency method of delivering carbon savings and energy cost reduction.

In this example High Temperature Oilon ChillHeat CHC units are applied to deliver the highest levels of process flexibility and performance. However, it is important to note that this method of application can be replicated within any industrial sector or process/production application.

This webinar is the first in a series of informative sessions that will provide attendees with knowledge based around operational projects that have the potential to make a real difference to UK operators.

Join us on the 17th September and learn how Grünenthal removed both fossil fuels and steam from their plant/process whilst recycling valuable waste heat.
